Walking for Water
Walking Hadrian’s Wall in a 3 day challenge to raise money for WaterAid.
The Cause
Do you believe access to clean water and sanitation are basic human rights? WaterAid does. This international non-profit is the world's largest organization focused solely on making clean water, decent toilets, and good hygiene a normal part of life for everyone, everywhere. They work tirelessly to transform lives by addressing this fundamental crisis.
Imagine a world where children don't miss school due to waterborne illnesses, and women and girls aren't at risk when using unsafe sanitation facilities. WaterAid's work extends far beyond just providing clean water. They empower entire communities through hygiene education and sanitation projects, fostering a ripple effect of positive change. By investing in WaterAid, you're investing in a healthier, more dignified future for millions around the world.

Meet the team! These aren't your average athletes, but a group of ordinary people with extraordinary determination. For them, walking isn't just exercise, it's a powerful act of compassion. These everyday heroes are lacing up their shoes and preparing to embark on a remarkable journey – a challenging 3-day trek, walking a staggering 30 miles each day for a total of 90 gruelling miles. They're not seeking personal glory, but aiming to raise awareness and funds for WaterAid's mission of clean water for all.
